BAC RallyCross #11 @ SSW
Final event of the 2013/14 season
The long range forecast is looking good.
There are some championships that come down to this last event.
The place to be on Sunday April 13 is
Scotia Speed World.
The weather is not looking all that good, it will definitely be an interesting event.
A low pressure system approaching from the U.S. East Coast late on Saturday is expected to pass slowly south of Nova Scotia on Sunday and Monday.
The precipitation produced by the system is expected to begin as freezing rain or ice pellets early Sunday across northern Nova Scotia, Cape Breton and Prince Edward Island before changing to rain. The rest of Nova Scotia will get a soaking from rain that is expected to be heavy at times.
For updates keep an eye on
The regular Race School, which is set for May 23th – 25th, 2014 is available only to those who intend to race in ARMS Road Racing events (TRAC Sedan Series, Spec Miata, etc). This advanced driving course will provide you with advanced techniques towards driving competitively at AMP in the heat of traffic safety and, hopefully, quickly! The cost is $250.00 and will consist of a mandatory classroom session starting Friday evening at 6:30pm Friday May 23rd at 100 Dispensing Way, Lower Sackville and all day at the track on Saturday May 24th. A school race will take place on Sunday May 25th during the regular ARMS race schedule. This race is included in the cost of the school. Full safety equipment and a completed medical are required for this school race. The instructors will teach you theory, safety and personal on-track instruction in your car on a one to one basis.
Race school participants have the same requirements for the Saturday session as the High Performance Driving School. A safe street vehicle can be used for the Saturday track sessions however, a full race-prepared vehicle and ARMS mandated safety equipment are required for the Sunday school race. NOTE: The vehicle used for the Saturday school sessions MUST have a passenger seat with appropriate passenger restraint (OEM 3 point belts or valid multipoint race harness. Convertible vehicles are not allowed except with additional roll-over protection. Please contact the organizers with any questions.)
