There are two positions up for election:
Both of the incumbents have agreed to stand for re-election.
With the updated By-Laws the Nominating Committee are now allowed to propose more than one candidate for a position.

Note: You need only fill out the vehicle form once in 2024 unless there are changes. Please fill out the Drivers form for each weekend you intend to race.
Deadline: Please register online by Wednesday September 4th at 8 PM. Late registrations will incur a $75.00 penalty fee. Entry fees are not required to be submitted at registration time, and can be paid as late as track time on race day.
You must still report to registration on race day to confirm your entry.
Single Series Entrants: Drivers competing in brackets GT1-GT3, please register for the AJM Classics Series; those in brackets GT4-GT6, please register in the WCN Motorsports. Multiple driver cars may still compete in either series, but the goal is to maximize competition/racing in both series. This is on a trial basis and may be revised with notice.
All drivers, entrants, and crew are required to sign the official waiver form upon entrance to the track premises or the earliest staffed opportunity. You can sign the waiver in advance here.
Exclusions: The race organizers reserve the right to exclude from racing all those who fail to comply with the rules of the ARMS handbook and these supplementary regulations.
Sedan classes may be combined or run separately dependent on scheduling.
All open wheel car classes will be combined for all open wheel races.

Car owners must make sure all the drivers of their vehicles are licensed, registered and have paid the appropriate fees. Unregistered drivers found to be racing will be black flagged and cannot continue until they have completed their paperwork.
For a second offense there will be a $200.00 fine to the car owner.
Gate Fees: Race License includes the gate fee for the racer only; all crew members and associated personnel are required to pay the $10 admission fee at the gate.
Refunds/Credits: If a race driver/entrant has registered, and has a mechanical breakdown during practice or qualifying, a 50% credit will be issued for another race day – no refunds.
In the event of a race car mechanical breakdown after the driver/entrant has taken a green flag for a race, no refund will be made.
If a race date/event cannot continue then all expenses will be paid, and any remaining money will be divided proportionally amongst entrants.
Race Cars: No race car will be allowed on the track until passed by the Technical Inspector.
Cars may be required to re-pass technical inspection after an incident or upon request of the scrutineer.
All cars must display the annual tech decal on the driver’s side of the windshield or, for open wheel cars, on the driver’s side roll bar.
Helmets: All Helmets must have the driver’s first initial and full last name on the left side, at minimum. This is for medical rescue / first response so they know who they are dealing with in the event of an incident.
Mylaps Electronic Timing System will be used. All race cars are required to correctly install a transponder in accordance with the requirements. Transponders may be rented at registration if necessary. Only ARMS approved transponder units may be used. Racing will be scored in one of two ways: time to complete a set number of laps, or laps per set amount of time.
An official bulletin board will be maintained at Registration in the Guthrie Building. Race organizers will consider this building as Race Headquarters for the event.
Insurance Provider: Stoneridge Insurance Brokers.
Gate: If no one is at the gate when you arrive on race weekend, you must check in with the race director to sign appropriate waivers and remit fees for crew. You can sign the annual waiver in advance here. If arriving Friday night for setup, please arrive after 5pm.
On Track Behavior: Severe penalties may be issued to drivers not demonstrating acceptable levels of car control, due caution and good judgment in the areas of incidents and trackside workers, and may include fines, retirement from the race day and/or loss of race license, all to be determined and at the complete discretion of the race officials.
Pit Lane: no open-toed shoes or shorts allowed. Only pit crew and drivers are allowed on pit lane.
Paddock: For the September event, paddock stalls will be assigned as per the Race Director. The event is expecting a full paddock and we will require cooperation from all competitors to allow everyone use of the paddock space.
Paddock stalls are on the right side of the paddock only. The middle of the paddock is for pre-grid and the pit wall area is for service crews during a race. All gear must be removed after each race.
No sitting or riding on the exterior of a moving vehicle.
No bare feet in the paddock.
Paddock Transport: Any ATV, golf cart or other motorized paddock transportation must be clearly identifiable to a driver/entrant (by car # affixed to the vehicle) and must be operated in a safe manner by an adult only. Parents are reminded that powered vehicles for youth under 16 are not allowed anywhere on the property anywhere at AMP during TRAC sessions, in accordance with the Nova Scotia Off Highway Vehicle Act & Regulations.
Waste Oil: There are no waste oil services at the track. Please remove your own waste oil. Each race team should have on hand, minimum:
Spill/clean-up fees incurred by ARMS on behalf of racers will be billed to racers/teams and payable immediately.

Please note that these items have been mandatory since July 2019. You may be subject to a fine due upon inspection if found lacking.
Refueling: Fuel containers shall only be moved to the pit after the car has stopped. The driver must be out of the car and the car turned off before any refueling begins. The refueler must be protected by a full nomex suit, balaclava, socks and shoes and full coverage helmet. A crew member must be standing by with a fully charged ABC fire extinguisher (min. 5lb) ready in case of emergency. Only after the refueling is complete may the driver re-enter the car. No working on the car during refueling.
Speed: Paddock area speed (All AMP area not part of the track surface) is 10km/h. Pit lane is no greater than 40km/h.
Alcohol & Drugs: Neither alcoholic beverages nor drugs may be consumed in the paddock/pit area before the end of the race day program. No driver may consume alcohol 8 hours before competing. Drivers may be asked to submit to a breathalyzer test.
Track Use: Any driver operating a motor vehicle on the track, other than when entered in a sanctioned event, at the request or permission of race control or during a private rental, will be disqualified for the rest of the year.
Supervision: Parents are reminded that they are responsible for children, and must ensure their supervision and safe behavior on the Property, and in the Paddock specifically, at all times. Do not allow children to run or play in the Paddock while the track is hot. Do not allow behaviors in the Paddock that may cause inattention or distraction from a moving vehicle – i.e. throwing a ball, lying on the ground, etc., at any time. Use common sense, and follow the direction of officials.
Grid Rollout for 1 Hour: Pit Lane will be opened 35 minutes prior to the start of the race. Pit exit will remain open for 10 minutes. During this time, cars may complete 1 installation lap – exiting pit lane and proceeding through turn 11 for gridding on the front straight. Flags will be waved in 11, with the yellow light on. Follow the Grid Marshal’s direction to your grid spot.
Any cars registered for the 1 hour that do not make the Rollout and do not exit pit lane within the 10 minute window may start from Pit Lane.
5 Minutes prior to the race start, all non-crew will be cleared from the grid. 2 minutes prior to the race all personnel will be cleared from the grid.
Attendance is mandatory at the driver’s meeting on the morning of both event days. Drivers not in attendance will start from pit lane after the green flag has dropped for all races entered that day.

Take Exit 10 off Highway 102, and head into Shubenacadie (2.3km) -At the stop sign, turn hard right onto West Indian Road (watch for the sign: Indian Brook / Mill Village / McPhee’s Corner) -Drive 2.6km, keep right (Look for the Motorsport Park sign) -Drive 2km, turn right onto North Salem Rd (Look for the North Salem / Atlantic Motorsport Park sign) -After 2.6km, the road will change to gravel. Drive on gravel road for another 2.2km -Turn Right onto Race Track Rd (Look for the Atlantic Motorsport Park sign) -Follow this road (1.2km) until you reach the Atlantic Motorsport Park gates.

Supplementary Rules & Regulations:
1.0 These Supplementary Rules and Regulations, Supplementary Bulletins, the Event Schedule and event insurance will be posted on the official notice board.
1.1 All competitors must be a current member of an ARMS recognized club or an SCCA recognized club. All competitors must have either a current TimeAttack/SoloSprint license (or equivalent as required by their Territory) or a current Regional/National Road Race license. These will need to be shown on request at registration.
1.2 All competitors and pit crew must sign the insurance waiver and always wear the provided wrist bands.
1.3 All competitors not familiar with AMP can receive a driver orientation session before driving on the track surface, by special request only, with 1 week notice prior to the event.
1.4 No speeding/reckless driving will be tolerated on the paved/unpaved roads leading to AMP. This applies to all participants, competitors and their crews. If anyone is caught speeding or reckless driving the applicable driver will lose their fastest time of the day (second fastest time will be used for scoring). Participants can be removed from the event at the discretion of the organizers.
1.5 Clerk of the course reserves the right to drop/alter sessions. If a run session is dropped for one group, then all groups would drop that same run session.
1.6 Drivers Meeting – The organizer shall call all participants/competitors to a Driver’s Meeting prior to the start of the event. All participants/competitors are required to attend this meeting.
2.0 No passengers allowed during timed runs.
2.1 Safe passing zones during practice/ instructional periods will be between turns 6 and 7 and turns 11 and 1. At certain events passing may be allowed between turns 3 and 4. These will be marked with pylons. Passing is only allowed with hand signals given from driver of vehicle being overtaken. Overtaken vehicle will maintain speed and let vehicle pass safely on the left. In certain instances, the overtaken car may be required to reduce throttle to allow the pass to complete safely.
2.2 Window requirements. The Driver’s window must be down far enough to allow point by passing hand signals to be given without adjusting the window. Passenger side window shall be set to the same height regardless of the seat being occupied or not. The Driver’s window may be all the way down if an approved window net is used and positioned to permit point by passing hand signals from the driver’s seat.
2.3 All sunroofs / T tops must be installed and in their locked positions.
2.4 All convertible tops must be up and secured.
2.5 Red Flag – waved at all marshal stations and by the Starter informs all Drivers to safely & slowly proceed into pitlane, unless otherwise directed by the corner 11 marshal. Drivers shall be prepared to stop at any time.
2.6 Yellow Flag -In sessions with passing: The Yellow flag informs drivers of an incident ahead and to proceed with caution with no passing. Drivers are to look as far ahead on the course as possible for a waving Green Flag. Once a driver passes the Green Flag, then they shall resume speed.
2.7 White Flag: In timed sessions with no passing, displayed at any marshal station including the Start/Finish post only when instructed to do so by the Clerk of the Course. It informs the Driver to slow down and make space from the vehicle ahead. The lap on which this flag is displayed will not be scored. Drivers are to proceed at a pace that creates safe space from the vehicle ahead, but does not slow the vehicle behind. Drivers are to look as far ahead on the course as possible for a waving Green Flag
2.8 Black Flag – proceed to the pit lane, stop at the first pit stall as you enter pit lane and await instructions to be given to you by the clerk of the course.
2.9 Fueling is only permitted in the paddock area, not pit lane. All teams must have a fire extinguisher on hand during fueling.
2.10 Please ensure that you have adequate fuel for the day, it’s a 20-30 minute trip for fuel.
2.11 Clothing- competitors, passengers and crew members alike should wear long sleeved shirts, and shall wear long pants, fully enclosed footwear (no sandals, etc) while in pit lane or the track.
2.12 Motorized vehicles- ( ATV’s, motorcycles, etc.) Drivers of such vehicles must obey pit speed limit (15 kph) and drive prudently. Pit Lane and the track are off limits to all such vehicles unless permission is given by the clerk of the course.
2.13 Impound – After your run group has finished it’s allotted runs for the day you will be directed to the impound for 30 minutes where your vehicle will be available for viewing by your fellow competitors- leave your car open for inspection. Do not move your vehicle unless directed to do so by the impound marshal.
2.14 Car Modification info – in impound competitors shall make available upon request by fellow competitors, the preparation (PIP) schedule and, if the relevant option(s) are taken, dyno plots and curb weight measurement detail. Failure to produce those materials could be cause for inquiry.
3.0 Timing and Scoring:
3.1 The start and finish lines are located directly adjacent to the starters bridge.
3.2 For Time Attack without Passing competitors maybe be divided into two or more run groups. Each competitor will have a total of 2 timed runs each session for TA w/o passing.
