2025 TRAC Series Test and Tune – May 4th
We are holding a Test and Tune prior to the start of the season for all prepped race cars in the region!
Supplementary Regulations are here! Please read them!
Instructions for registration and payment are in the Supplementary Regulations.
When: Sunday May 4th 2025
Cost: $250, or $200 if you have helped at one of the AMP Work Parties on April 26/27 and May 3rd. Payment instructions are in the Supplementary Regulations.
What you need: More information in the Supplementary Regulations, but here are the coles notes;
- All participants must have either a valid 2025 ARMS Race License or a valid 2025 ARMS Time Attack License. If you are taking the Race School in May and wish to participate in the test and tune, get in touch with the Race Director Nate.
- All cars with a 2024 ARMS Annual Technical Inspection are permitted for this event. For any car not holding a Logbook or an Annual Tech Inspection from the 2024 season, please contact James, the Chief Scrutineer to arrange this prior to the Test and Tune. There will be no Annual Tech Inspections performed at this event and all cars will require a 2025 Annual Tech prior to Round 1!
Schedule: A schedule is included in the Supp Regs – we may split into 2 run groups if we have a larger number of entrants. If not, we will run an open session. Even with the run groups, there will still be multiple hours of track time available.
I’ll be checking with AMP about whether camping is permitted on Saturday night – There is a work party on May 3rd as well and work may be taking place in the paddock areas during this event. I will update anyone who is registered on this as we get closer to the event.

2025 TRAC Series Announcements and Other Things
Hello everyone!
I hope everyone is having a great winter without too much smashing of ice, but I know that’s probably not the case! On to warmer news…
We are looking at a really big season this year – 4 TRAC regionals, Super Production Challenge visiting and then the Jack Canfield Memorial to finish it off. We are looking to hold a work party in April and are going to try to have a pre season Test and Tune for later on that month as well. I’ll have more information about those as we get closer, but a few administrative announcements first.

The link for the Speedwaiver for this year is here
ARMS Race License and Entry Fee
ARMS decided at the AGM to increase the AMP contribution portion of all licenses that use AMP from $20 to $40 for this year. This means that the cost of the 2025 ARMS Race License will now be $140. This extra $20 will go directly to AMP to help cover the costs of operation, as well as many planned upgrades by the AMP Board this year.
As discussed at the Race Workshop, with increased operating costs over the last few years, we are raising the Entry Fees by 10%. The 2025 Entry Fees are listed in TRAC Series Bulletin 2025-2. These fees will likely stay static through the end of the 2026 season, unless costs increase dramatically before that time.
2025 Race License Renewals
Brent is now ready to accept 2025 Race License applications! As above, the cost is $140 this year. There are several items that need to be included in the application package, as outlined in the Race License Application Form. Please send all these items to Brent at the same time and in the same email – registrar@armsinc.ca. This will help the renewal process move quickly and will be greatly appreciated!
The things you need!
Medical – As last year, we are allowing anyone who held a Race License in 2024 to complete the Medical Self Declaration form for the 2025 license. This is outlined in TRAC Series Bulletin 2025-1. If you did not have a Race License from 2024 and plan on obtaining a 2025 License, you will need to complete the Full Medical Form and have it signed by a physician. If you require this but do not have access to a doctor, send me a message and we’ll discuss it.
Everyone submitting an application for the 2025 season will need to complete and submit the AMP Medical Form – this form goes to MRT. This is required in the application package as well.
Club Membership – Proof of a valid and current 2025 membership with an ARMS club. Club memberships are handled by each club. If there are issues, please contact your club to resolve any outstanding issues before you submit your Race License Application.
ARMS Speedwaiver – Link above, a screenshot of the completed waiver will work.
ARMS Race License Application – Complete the form. This is fairly self explanatory 🙂
2025 Race School
We’re going to have some information released on the 2025 Race School soon! The cost for this year will be $645 – this includes your race license application fee as well as the entry fee for Round 1. If you’re in this email list and are interested in taking the school, please let me know! Also, if anyone is aware of someone who intends to take the school, please reach out to me as well!
We got a lot going on behind the scenes to get everything ready for this year, so stay tuned! We are working on the Race School information as I said above, and up next will be the updated rulebook with all the changes from the Race Workshop.
As always, feel free to reach out with any questions to race@armsinc.ca!
Looking forward to 2025.
ARMS Race Director
