Atlantic Region Motor Sports and Atlantic Formula Racing Association
Are pleased to announce the first part of the donation has been made to AMP from the 6th Annual Jack Canfield Memorial 3hr Enduro this past weekend, October 13, 2013.
This part of the donation was handled by ARMS and came from the entry fees, admission fee at the gate and the ARMS donation where a total of $3958.00 was raised. After expenses of $2403.45 a total of $1555.55 is left and the cheque is already on the way to AMP.
The second portion of the donation is being handled by AFRA and consists of donations made by sponsors and the Maritime League of Legends. As soon as all those funds are collected the second part of donation will be completed. The dollar value of the second part is still not confirmed but will be announced asap.
As some of you know AMP will be closed to on track activities as of Oct 18th until track opening in early May of next year. The reason for this is that there is a big (for AMP) pavement repair project slated to begin within the next week or so.
The funds raised by the JCM will be put to good use right away.
I would like to thank everyone involved in the 6th Annual Jack Canfield Memorial 3hr Enduro from the drivers to the spectators to the countless volunteers on race day and to the behind the scene organizers.
A job well done for a great cause in memory of a great man by a bunch of great people.
