Attention all forum users. I've been doing updates, repairs, and maintenance on the ARMS web page and forum over the past few months. The next bit of maintenance is fairly large mainly from years of not maintaining it. Once upon a time there was a requirement that people using the forum use their real names and that got lost in an update/repair/move. I was unable to find the original text so an updated version of the user agreement was drafted and approved by the ARMS executive and member clubs. The updated user agreement is as follows:
By accessing “ATLANTIC REGION MOTOR SPORTS” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “ATLANTIC REGION MOTOR SPORTS”, “http://www.armsinc.ca/_armsinc.ca/forum”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “ATLANTIC REGION MOTOR SPORTS”. We may change these at any time and we’ll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of “ATLANTIC REGION MOTOR SPORTS” after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.
Our forums are powered by phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Group”, “phpBB Teams”) which is a bulletin board solution released under the “General Public License” (hereinafter “GPL”) and can be downloaded from

As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. To promote community and civil discussion, “ATLANTIC REGION MOTOR SPORTS” requires users to register using their real or commonly used name. Usernames shall consist of the user’s first and last name. Either the first or last name may be abbreviated; not both. Any usernames that do not or are suspected to not conform with this convention, will be disabled or removed. The first 3 paragraphs is the standard user agreement which has been displayed when a new user registers. The addition is the last paragraph. Please review the new section. If your username does not comply with the user agreement, please change your username to comply. Below are step-by-step instructions on how you can change your username:
To help facilitate maintenance, any accounts that have not logged in since "JANURARY 1, 2016" will be removed on August 31, 2018. This will save me from reviewing 1400+ usernames. The remaining accounts will be reviewed to ensure they comply with the user agreement. Any accounts that are not in compliance may be disabled after August 31.
This is challenging maintenance item so thank you for your help and understanding.
