All paved? So this is perfect for those with non-dirt road cars?

(just being clear....)

:P

Woo, seems like a perfect event to stretch the legs on the new car. As long as my co-driver doesn't bail on me, I'll be there.

My navigator officially bailed this morning. Looks like I'm out unless I can convince my wife to come out after getting home at 7am on a red eye from YYC.....probably the best idea is to just stay home this weekend.

No no, the best idea is to bring your wife, tired as she may be.

No good rally stories come out of an event that went perfectly. :)

Sherrie and Perry went over the route this morning and had no problems.
We are ready for tomorrow.

So, what should we bring to the rally?

No excuse Matt E!
I entered a car rally once after I got home at 8 AM after working all night, and my co-driver was still hung over from her late night of drinking! We were quite the pair, but we had a blast! ..and survived... we didn't even fight! :)

I'm not the one you need to convince. I'll pester her on the way home from the airport. Wish me luck. :)

Bring a navigator and a pen or pencil. A watch may be useful as would a sence of humor.

Thanks everyone for putting on this event. We had a great time!

Too bad my poor math resulted in us being last... :lol

I will have to teach Ben to do the math next time!

No, No, No...
I rechecked my Times, and found I was in fact  25min  off! 8O

So Bert, you and Ben did in fact take the 3rd spot on the Podium.
And Ben, you would have probably got a step or two higher up the Podium!
:D
Congratulations to you, Bert and Ben, and to everybody else.
And especially a big Thank you to Sherrie Charlotte and Pidge for putting this on.

I had a great time, even if I did get us lost before we left the Parking lot.
I need to have Pylons you understand.
Oh, and Google comes in pretty handy too. :P

Too bad more people couldn't have come out and enjoyed a fun, relaxing cruise to Peggy's Cove and back.

Sorry we couldn't make it out, we had plans yesterday that long pre-dated the rally announcement. Glad people enjoyed themselves though! Thanks Sherrie and Pidge for putting on what sounded like a fun event!

We had a lot of fun too! No cones, no missed directions, stopped for icecream at Peggy's Cove!
