Event information summary:
- 2 day event to be held Saturday August 31, and Sunday Sept. 1 – 2013.
- Hosted by East Coast Karting and Champlain Motorsports, Dieppe, NB.
- Pre-registration fee $ 150.00/driver – includes registration for both days of competition. Pre-registration deadline August 23rd
- Late registration fee – $ 25.00/driver, after August 23rd.
- Regional licence Fee – either ASN full season licence of $ 50.00 or $ 25.00 for the weekend – contact the ARMs director Gerald Caseley for details.
- Starting position in heat races determined by timed qualification.
- Starting positions for Pre-Final – lowest accumulated points system determines staring position – lowest points to the front.
- Starting position for Final – determined by finishing position in pre-final.
- Tires for event – Vega – wet or dry.
- ASN National warm up rules apply once track opens Saturday August 31.
Event Schedule
Friday August 30, 2013:
- Practise, open – 9 AM to 8 PM, subject to track being available for all registered participates.
- Registration 4 to 5 PM
Saturday August 31, 2013:
- Registration – open at 8.
- Official practise, session # 1 – Saturday August 31 – 9 to 1 PM. Track is closed to all competitors from 1 to 5 PM. No time extension to session if Red flagged.
- Registration closes at 4:00PM.
- BBQ open 4:00 to 5:30 PM.
- Official Practise, session # 2 – Saturday August 31 – 5 to 6:30 PM. 8 minutes per class. No time extension to session if Red flagged.
- Welcome & drivers meeting @ 6:45 PM – all drivers required to attend. ARMS comments and welcome.
- Timed qualifying @ 7:00PM – 10 minutes per class. (Tires will be marked, engines sealed after each session)
- Heat race # 1 @ 8:15 PM – 12 laps all class.
- Heat Race # 2 @ 9:00 PM – 12 Laps per class.
- On-track activity finishes after heat # 2.
Sunday Sept. 1, 2013:
- No on track activity until warm ups.
- Warm up @ 10:00AM – 8 minutes per class
- Drivers meeting @ 10:45 AM
- Heat Race # 3 @ 11:15 AM – 12 laps per class
- Posting of overall heat results – lowest point system @ noon.
- BBQ open for Lunch noon to 1:00
- Pre-Final @ 1:00 PM
- Novice 15 laps
- Junior 20 laps
- Senior 25 laps
- Final @ 2:15 PM
- Novice 15 laps
- Junior 20 laps
- Senior 25 laps
- Technical inspection 3 to 3:30 PM
- Posting of official results of Final@ 3:30 PM
- Trophy presentation @ 4:00 PM
